Pipe ACOM
Non-intrusive and modular system, designed for flexible pipes that allowing access and management of the pipe’s annular without interfering with its structure or its production flow.
Simeros' Pipe ACOM mitigate or even eliminate the degradation of the flexible lifetime caused by aggressive environment in the annular region

End Fittings
Simeros' Test & Field End Fittings are result of years of R&D producing combined innovative features improving assembly, performance and reliability
-
Allows underwater arrangements with less buoys installed in the flexible pipe
-
Makes feasible the application of flexible pipes in free hanging catenary configuration
-
Enables the use of "reserved" flexible pipes under more severe conditions than originally designed
-
Allows life extension of the Flexible Pipe in operation or reutilization after removal
Pipe ACOM Development
Development and qualification project of a non-intrusive and modular system for total management and intervention of the annular region of the flexible pipe in association with Major O&G Operators
Pipe ACOM aims to mitigate or even eliminate issues, like premature, unpredicted and catastrophic failure of flexible risers, caused by corrosion of the pipe under severe applications, such as the SCC-CO2 presented in the Pre-Salt and other harsh production environments. Thus reducing emergency production stoppage, environmental risks and other high-cost operational problems to operators.
